How to reach Zell am See

Zell am See is perfectly connected to the European traffic network and can also be reached using means of pulic transport.

Approach by airplane

The airport of Salzburg is 80 km away, Munich airport 200 km and Innsbruck airport is 150 km away from our hotel. Salzburg airport is connected to all larger European airports and our hotel can be reached from this airport in a 75-minutes' drive. From Munich our hotel can be reached in 2.5 hours driving time, while Innsbruck is 2 hours away.

Aproach by car

The nearest motorways are the Tauernautobahn A10 and the motorway Munich - Sazburg A8.

Coming from Munich take to the A8 up to Siegesdorf, where you take the exit to Lofer. Via Saalfelden you reach Zell am See.

Coming from Vienna you take the motorway Vienna - Salzburg A1, on the A8 you proceed to Bischofshofen. Continue to Zell am See.

Coming from Zurich take the A1 via St. Gallen to Feldkirch. Continue on the A14/A12 via Bludenz, Landeck, Imst and Innsbruck to Wörgel. Take the exit St. Johann. Via Lofer and Saalfelden you reach Zell am See.

Coming from Milan take the A4 to Verona and continue on the A22 to Innsbruck, then take the A13/A12 to Wörgel. Take the exit St. Johann via Lofer to Saalfelden and Zell am See.

Approach by train

Zell am See has also an express train station with direct connection to all larger cities in the surroundings. Also special trains such as the "Schnee-Express" stop in Zell am See.
