An absolute classic for professionals is the Großglockner High Alpine Road, which is characterized by its 60 mountain kilometers and 1,236 meters in altitude as well as the high level of difficulty. The Maiskogel, the Hundstein and the Kitzsteinhorn also offer numerous tours.

The high alpine Geißstein Trail is 3,144 m long and leads over 500 vertical meters from the Alpine Center to the Häuslalm. The Wüstlau Trail is 7.7 km long and has an altitude difference of more than 1,000 meters. It stretches from the Häuslalm across alpine pastures and forests down to the valley. The Bachler Trail, on the other hand - natural and relatively easy to ride - is 5.2 km long, here there are 600 vertical meters to be overcome.
Bike racing
In addition to the Großglockner High Alpine Road with its considerable difference in altitude, the Ironman 70.3 World Championship round through the Pinzgau is highly recommended. The mandatory tours include the Pass Thurn and Felbertauernstraße. If you want to take it easy, the Tauern Cycle Path with a length of 216 kilometers is available - in the middle of the breathtaking region of the Hohe Tauern National Park you will be offered an unparalleled landscape.
